5. How did the Byzantine Empire follow Roman tradition? What are examples of how they were different to their western counterpart.

6. Create a timeline of the development of Russia. Be sure to identify the following: Early Kievan settlements, Vladimir I, the Mongol occupation, and the contributions of the Czars.
